"The whole is the sum of the parts"...... wouldn't you think a company that has the knowledge and expertise to produce ion selective electrodes, peltier devices, radio frequency probes, capacitive probes, halogen lamps, silicone tubing, and many other products, would have an extraordinary insight and capability to rebuild the analyzers that these parts are used on? Wouldn't that company have an extraordinary advantage on parts costs? Of course the answer is "yes", and that company is Peripheral Visions, Inc. One thing you can be sure of......you're going to get alot more "new" for your money! As an example, we have created a "generic rebuild process" below which is, at minimum, what we include in a properly rebuilt analyzer: All covers, panels and frame - Paint or chemically treat to original look Tubing, seals, packing, o-rings, filters, lamp - Replace with new Probes (sample and reagent) - Replace with new CRT - Replace with new Printer - Replace with new Floppy disk drives - Replace with new Gear pump, vacuum and pressure pumps - Rebuild, replace if need Water pumps - Rebuild, replace if need All subassemblies (compressor, syringes, etc.) - Clean and rebuild |
