Doctor Easy Medical Products was born from a doctor's
need to clean his patient's ears in a more efficient and less traumatic
way.
The Ear Washer was designed to be inexpensive (about
$0.73 per patient), practical, and easy to use. A simple spray bottle was
seen as the best way to go about doing this task. The modification of the
spray bottle resulted in characteristics surpassing any of the other products on
the market such as antiquated metal syringes, loud and messy water pik devices,
or ridiculously expensive systems that don't work and require costly replacement
parts and maintenance.
The Elephant Ear Washer
This simple, yet practical, spray bottle device
provides you with the water pressure you need to thoroughly clean your patient's
ears, in less time than ever before; with no noise or mess, and it holds enough
fluid to clean BOTH ears without refilling! The plastic SPLASH
SHIELD prevents backwash, and along with the ear basin keeps YOU and the patient
from becoming SOAKED!
Dr. Easy Ear Washer (For Home Use)
The home use model was designed with the consumer in
mind. It has a short nozzle so an individual can use it while in the
shower. Although it only holds eight ounces of fluid, we find this amount
sufficient for one person.
The Doctor Easy Ear Washer can be used to remove wax
from the ear canal, as well as foreign objects such as insects, etc. and for
regular hygiene. It is also great for preventing infections of the ear
canal that can result from swimming in pools or other contaminated bodies of
water
To use it, simply add one ounce of baby shampoo, warm
water, and mix thoroughly. Gently insert the flexible tube in the ear
canal and spray gradually, making sure that in the process, you do not
experience any pain.
Should you experience any pain, consult with your
physician as you might have an infection. You should not use this product
in the presence of infections, ruptured tympanic membranes or tympanic tubes.
